Our dancing groups are one of the main ways of preserving our dancing tradition and the customs of Pontus. They are divided in three categories:
- Beginner’s group: Everyone who is interested in learning Pontian dances can join.
- Junior Dancing group: For children from 3 to 14 years old.
- Senior Dancing group: For teenagers from 15 years old and adults.
Our dancing groups meet every Sunday from 12.00 a.m. till 2.30 p.m. at the Freizeitheim in Westendstr. 66a.
The dancing teachers of our Association is Serafim Voulgaridis. The musical accompaniment of our rehearsals is supported by Dimitris Vogiatzis playing the lyra and Sakis Antoniadis playing the drum.
Our dancing groups take part in various events in Munich as well as in other German cities. They also participate in international dancing festivals throughout Europe.
